Jamie is a Liverpool-born actor and writer of Norwegian and Scottish descent.  He has recently led many film projects including the horror feature "In The Trap" and "The Death of Don Quixote", (Silver Melies Winner for best short and official selection of Sitges Film Festival 2018). On stage he starred in the West End debut of original play, ‘The Ruby Slippers’, (Break A Leg Productions, Bill Elms, Jokepit), at The Arts Theatre, London, as well as its sell-out tour of the North of England. 

He can also be seen in 'Black Mirror' (Netflix), 'The Darkest Dawn' (Wildseed Studios, Pinewood, Netflix), Wedding Season, (Disney +), Struck (Hulu) and more.
 

Originally from the world of improv and stand-up comedy he made his Edinburgh fringe debut in 2016 with the stand-up show 'Variety Hour'. As a writer his work has been broadcast on 'Newsjack' (BBC Radio 4 Extra), 'The Mawaan and Emily show' (BBC Asian Network), and BBC Radio Merseyside. As well as co-writing and developing the sitcom “Bad Egg” with Mawaan Rizwan, James Dean and King Bert Productions in the UK. He currently has multiple feature scripts, a comic series and motion comic in development under NDA.
 

He originally trained as a writer and director in Lancashire before starting his own production company and working behind the scenes at Channel 4 and the BBC.

His acting training includes time at RADA, The Actors Centre, and extensive private coaching as well as studying clowning and physical comedy with Philippe Gaulier-accredited teacher, Dr Brown.
